ATEQ is Available to Provide Consulting, Leak Testers and Flow Meters For Syringe Testing Applications.

A syringe is a reciprocating pump that uses a tube with tightly fitting plunger used to expel or draw in liquid or gas through hole at the end of the tube. The opening may be fitted with a needle, nozzle or tubing to direct flow in and out of the syringe barrel.  It is essential that tip of the syringe flows material through the barrel properly and that the the nozzle, tubing and the plunger’s seal do not leak.

Whether your company needs to leak test a luer lock, normal slip tip, cathether tip, eccentric tip or an insulin syringe, ATEQ can help you develop a leak or flow testing solution to test that your syringe does not leak.

ATEQ has developed solutions for hundreds of different syringe applications for well known medical companies over the last 40 years.  ATEQ can work with you to provide efficient leak or flow testers for syringes and develop integrated syringe production testing solutions.

Typically, ATEQ recommends leak testing syringes with a pressure decay or occlusion tester like the Primus F620 or G620 leak testing instruments with a pressure testing specification range of 0.5 to 20 psi, leak rate spec range of 0.25 to 1.0 cc/min and a test time of 3-8 seconds.
