ATEQ is Available to Provide Consulting, Leak Testers For Blister Pack Testing Applications.

When it comes to a manufacturer’s decision if it needs to add leak testing as a quality control test on the production line, one of the major deciding factors is the consequence of a faulty product. If air or moisture is able to get into a pack of pills, the effectiveness of the medicine is compromised.

Pressure or vacuum decay testing is one of the most efficient ways to test blister pack. This method uses air as the testing medium rather than a test using water or dye which would make the content unusable. By putting a blister pack into a custom fixture and chamber and charging with air pressure or pulling a vacuum, you can detect for leaks in the seals to make sure the package didn’t break or open during production.

ATEQ has developed solutions for hundreds of different medical leak testing applications for well known medical manufacturers over the last 40 years.  Whether you are leak testing blister packs, catheters, pacemakers, or an automotive engine, ATEQ can work with you to provide efficient leak testers and develop integrated blister pack production testing solutions.
