Verifying an ATEQ Instrument Using a Calibrated Leak

In this video, an ATEQ Application Engineer demonstrates how to use a calibrated leak/jet to check the accuracy of the readings displayed on a leak or flow tester, like the D620 flow tester. It is important to regularly check the accuracy of your instrument’s leak readings by attaching known calibrated leak to the tester to ensure the most accurate test results since any measurement reading tends to drift over time. For example, you may want to verify your home scale by putting a known weight onto it every so often. If you put a 10 pound weight on your scale, and the reading on the scale doesn’t match, the measurement device will have to be recalibrated.
