ATEQ’s Mass Flow technology measures air leakage by converting the mass of air passing through a laminar flow element into a precise leak value, such as cm³.atm/h. If a part leaks, air flows through the Mass Flow device, which accurately measures and quantifies the leakage.
Unlike traditional systems, our technology handles large leaks without needing a reset and avoids using heating elements, reducing sensitivity to contamination. Designed for high-pressure applications, it delivers accurate results at pressures up to 20 Bar (300 PSI). Additionally, advanced temperature compensation ensures reliable performance even in challenging conditions.
Steps for Mass Flow Leak Testing
- Prepare the Object: Seal the object and connect it to the mass flow testing system.
- Pressurization: Introduce air or gas into the object to reach a set test pressure.
- Stabilization Phase: Allow the system to stabilize, ensuring pressure distribution and temperature equalization.
- Flow Measurement: Measure the flow rate of air or gas required to maintain the pressure.
- Analysis: Evaluate the flow rate to determine the presence and size of leaks.
