Miles’ Journey: From Quality Technician to Sales Application Engineer
A great example of career development within ATEQ is Miles, who started locally in Livonia, MI, as a Quality Technician in 2021. Thanks to his dedication, he was promoted to Application Engineer and later advanced into his current role as Sales Application Engineer for Eastern Michigan and Ohio. His journey illustrates how ATEQ provides opportunities for employees to grow, explore new skills, and expand their responsibilities.
“At ATEQ, I feel encouraged to push my limits and keep learning. Every step of my career has been guided by managers and colleagues who truly cared about my progress.”
From Internships to Career Opportunities: ATEQ Gives Young Talents a Chance
The same philosophy applies to the younger generation. Over the years, ATEQ USA has welcomed several interns who made significant contributions to the team. Recently:
• Paul Mignot joined for four months as part of his engineering studies, bringing fresh ideas and energy to the application team. He has since returned to France to complete his degree. “My time at ATEQ USA was short but intense. I learned a lot in just four months, and it gave me the confidence to start my career.“
• Julien Lafaix supported the marketing team as a VIE (international volunteer) for 18 months in the U.S. and now assists the Toronto office. Julien adds: “Working with the U.S. and Canadian teams helped me discover new perspectives and sharpen my skills in a real-world environment.“
• Paul Schmitt also joined the team as a VIE for 18 months and will now be assisting the sales team on a local contract in the Midwest region as a Sales Engineer.
Killian Dagneaux, Marketing Manager, who guided Paul and Julien throughout their internships: “Mentoring interns is rewarding because you see their skills develop so quickly. At ATEQ, we make sure young professionals don’t just observe – they actively contribute to real projects.”
