ATEQ is Available to Provide Consulting and Leak and Flow Testers For Coffee Maker Leak Testing Applications.

There are several components in a coffee maker that require leak or flow testing. In an automatic drip coffee maker, a measured amount of cold water is poured into a reservoir which contains a heating element that heats the water to boiling. The steam rises through a tube and condenses. The condensed water is distributed over the ground coffee in the filter through a device like a shower head. The water flows through the filter, infusing with the coffee, and falls into a carafe. The carafe sits on a metal plate which has another heating element inside it.

A leaking coffee maker is messy and could be hazardous when mixed with electricity so it is important that components of a coffee maker are properly leak and flow tested. The reservoir needs to be leak tested to make sure there are no manufacturing defects that allows the water to escape. The tubes that the steam rises through needs to only allow the specified amount to flow through over a given time without leaking out through any cracks. The same goes for the shower-like component that distributes the condensed water over the coffee grounds-it should be leak and flow tested to make sure it works effectively and safely.

ATEQ has developed solutions for hundreds of different appliance leak testing applications for well known manufacturers over the last 40 years.  Whether you are leak testing coffee maker reservoirs or tubes, refrigerators, headphones, smartphones, watches, catheters, pacemakers, or a washing machine, ATEQ can work with you to provide efficient leak and flow testers and develop integrated coffee maker production leak and flow testing solutions.
