ATEQ is Available to Provide Consulting, Leak Testers For Endoscope Testing Applications.

An endoscope is a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it that surgeons use to look at your organs during a procedure. Because this is an electronic product with sealed lights and cameras that will be put into an area of moisture, it is important that the endoscope is completely air-tight.

In order to leak test a hermetically sealed endoscope, a sealed component ingress leak test is needed since there are no openings to pressurize. This type of test requires pressurizing a custom air-tight chamber that contains the test part and looking for a drop in pressure.

Learn more about leak testing hermetically sealed components in our US Tech Magazine Article: Leak Testing Hermetically Sealed Components or ATEQ’s Sealed Component Testing white paper.
